LiveJournal server still disfunctioning

The LiveJournal server is still misbehaving, so goodness knows when this Fremantlebiz post will go online.   There’s a website at http://downrightnow.com/livejournal which shows a graph for the outages which have been occurring since Monday. Hopefully all will get back to normal soon.   I’m unaware of any information about what to root cause of these troubles have been.

If there is a worst case scenario and LiveJournal vanishes forever I have a backup blog site which I’ll start using.  Make a note of the URL in case I’m forced to switch.  http://freobiz.blogspot.com/ At the moment there’s only one entry there dating from 2010.  I might put this one with it to keep the site active.

We’ve had a wild night here.  The storm front arrived with some strong electrical activity from a westerly direction at about 6pm  - plenty of rain through the night and further thunder and lightning this morning ‘till about 8.30am.   More rough weather is expected later today.
